More Life In The Field

Up to 32.5% more special-grade yield and 27.6% more total yield versus control. The independently designed and conducted Brazilian trial showed the strongest Agrarius program adding 8.0 tonnes per hectare in the higher-value 45 to 70 mm category, lifting special-grade share to about 80.7% of total yield versus 76.4% in the control.

  • Up to 32.5% more special-grade yield and 27.6% more total yield versus control. The independently designed and conducted Brazilian trial showed the strongest Agrarius program adding 8.0 tonnes per hectare in the higher-value 45 to 70 mm category, lifting special-grade share to about 80.7% of total yield versus 76.4% in the control.
  • About US$4,400 (R$22,400) in potential added gross value per hectare. The extra 8.0 tonnes equals roughly 320 additional 25 kg bags at an illustrative R$70 per bag, before incremental costs. Actual grower economics will vary with pricing, grade, and operating costs, but the scale shows how crop performance can translate into commercial value.
  • Early quality signals and a growing LATAM pipeline. The team observed thicker, more resistant skin at harvest, which may support handling durability and shelf life, though these were not formal endpoints and need further evaluation. More trials across crops and application protocols are moving through analysis and independent reporting.

Today, we issued a media release reporting positive results from an independently designed and conducted Agrarius potato trial in Brazil. You can review the full release in our Newsroom

The numbers are encouraging. The top-performing Agrarius application programs recorded numerical increases of up to 32.5% in special-grade potato yield and up to 27.6% in total yield compared with the control.

What makes this result especially relevant is not simply the increase in overall production. The strongest Agrarius program produced 8.0 additional tonnes per hectare in the higher-value 45 to 70 millimetre commercial category. Special-grade potatoes represented approximately 80.7% of the total Agrarius-treated yield, compared with approximately 76.4% in the control.

For growers, producing a greater proportion of the crop within the most valuable commercial category can matter as much as total yield.

The potential farm-level economics help put this into perspective. The additional 8.0 tonnes of special-grade potatoes is equivalent to approximately 320 additional 25-kilogram bags per hectare. At an illustrative price of R$70 per bag, that could represent approximately R$22,400, or approximately US$4,400, in additional gross crop value per hectare before incremental costs.

Of course, actual grower economics will vary based on market pricing, crop grade, production costs and other operating factors. However, the scale of the observed numerical result demonstrates why measurable crop performance can become commercially meaningful.

Our LATAM team also observed thicker, more resistant skin in the Agrarius-treated potatoes at harvest. While skin characteristics and shelf life were not formal trial endpoints and require further evaluation, these observations may be relevant to improved handling durability and longer shelf life.

This is what More Life looks like in practice.

In agriculture, it means helping biology perform better in ways that can be measured, independently evaluated and translated into potential value for growers.

Over recent weeks, I have spent considerable time with our LATAM team reviewing the Agrarius programs underway and hearing directly from our agronomists who are closest to the work. Those discussions have reinforced the depth of activity behind this result. Our teams are gathering meaningful field observations, building practical knowledge across crops and application protocols, and advancing a growing pipeline of trial work through analysis and independent reporting.

Life has more to give, and our purpose is to help unlock it.

Sincerely,

Dennis Hancock
